I had my original hood tach repaired and cleaned up by the "The Tach Man".
He's in Georgia and did a great job.

I also recently bought a re-pro '67 unit from Ames, which I'm putting on my
other HO. It looks pretty close to the original.

Talking about hood tachs, what is usually wrong when the tach quits
working?
Can it be fixed or do I need to buy a repo tach?

Can someone give me a recommendation on an after-market "correct" tach
for a 67? My car has never had one (nor does it have scoops - its a
326) but I'd like to add a tach for looks.
