I'm really sorry to hear that Brian, that must have been a very, very difficult decision! I have sold two birds and one GTO, and it's haunted me ever since! But I wouldn't have my 67 Drop top that I have now if I had not sold the others... so it all comes back around eventually.
I'm glad to hear you'll still hang around... and like you said, at least you are still able to have a toy, something to keep you in the thick of things car wise. We all need that for sanity sake... Glad it worked out for the best at this point, and I wish you luck in the future, hope you will find just the right bird when the timing is right! The good news is that I was able to trade another car I have for a '71 Stingray 454 (LS5) with 57,000 original miles. So I'll be able to keep up my hobby, just not with a Pontiac (for now). I hope that someday I'll be able to purchase another first-gen Firebird. The Firebirds are truly special cars. Thanks for all of your support and help over the years, you guys are great and I do plan on staying subscribed to the email list.
