Yes, the vin # will tell you what the car is supposed to be.

The 2nd gens are starting to appreciate, specially the early ones.
I just picked up an 80 Turbo TA Indy Pace Car edition that's somewhat
collectible. Year One is cloning the late Smokey and the Bandit cars
so there's a demand for them.

I have a chance to buy a 70 or 71 Firebird, it is pretty rough, Had
T/A emblems, but I don't think it really was a T/A? Will the VIN tell you?
Anyone have an idea what it might be worth done?
Also, is anyone interested in buying it, we are in Colorado.
