My trim rings (14x7 rims) were chromed, and based on the number of dings and
scratches, I beleive the were the originals. About the center caps, I also
were under the impression that the black PMD caps were used in 69. The
brushed arrowhead caps are listed for later years (73-75), but I guess they
could have been replaced at some time, since they were easy to steal...

The ride & handling package - your car had heavy duty springs for firmer
ride characteristics. The original shocks did have a spiral pattern, so it
might be the originals still on.
http://www.eatonsprings.com/ would probably be your best bet finding the
right springs. The spiral shocks are reproduced and are sold by Ames, CI and
others.

As far as I understand, the only difference between standard and heavy duty
was that the latter had a foam ring, soaked in oil, around the filter
element. The air cleaner base should also have "Heavy Duty Air Cleaner"
printed on the front side. Only the 400 cars had a chrome lid from the
factory.
