has to be.... or is your motor over bored using 400 pistons ?
i recently bought a 67 428 that has +30 421 pistons in it double head
gaskets and 670's///
as far as i know, regular 389 pistons wont work with "late model" heads

I've got a 389 with 400 heads (670's). They must have put extra reliefs
in
the pistons.
