Thanks for the warning Im about to do the same to a 67 convertible
thats here for R&R.
I may have to use one of my GM ones if I cant get this to work.

Trust me on a good day with the right O ring its a 4 handed operation
to get the O ring compressed and the lock ring started.
Unless.... you have the proper tool(not likely anyone does).
Im going to start a new thread on the fitament of repro parts..

Once again, dooped by an OER seal (Oversized Equipment Rejects?)! This thing is 
too fat to get the cam lock started underneath the tabs that hold it down. Any 
suggestions for how to get the cam lock started?
