First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... I just happen to own a pair of NOS hinges that have never been used. Funny thing is one is a darker gray than the other and both are the fuzzy sort of phosphate finish. I'm not sure how to replicate, but if I were to try to match, my best guess would be some stainless steel paint (with fuzz). Old Joe In a message dated 3/1/2008 11:11:52 A.M. First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... I am restoring a 69 350 Coupe and was wondering what the correct finish is supposed to be on the hood hinges. I see camaros with a cast gray color and others with a flat black finish. Which is correct for my car?
