I have the original steering wheel in my `68.
it only has 4 cracks around the rim.
I really like the original wheel , goes with the character of the car.
My question is, how can I stop it from cracking any more.
I`ve heard the material the wheel is made from dries out & it can be
moisturized some how ???????

I always assumed the cracking was from the steel ring inside the plastic
wheel expanding and contracting.
