I wasn't gonna say anything :-) I appreciate the feedback though...

I agree that may not be the issue, but I have the tank out now, I'm
running new lines to the mech pump (Carter 6907); I may need to upgrade
to an electrical pump, but was actually trying to avoid that if
possible. I figured I'd increase the supply line in the sender if
possible too...

Dont know what I was thinking

the 1/4 line doesnt go to the pickup just into the tank

Nix that Idea.

going to be pretty hard to do as its part of the complete assembly that

everything attaches to.

Why not use the 1/4 line and Y both together.

I think your fuel starvation problem is somewhere else.

Are you sure youre not sucking air?

You may want to think about 3/8 line to a fuel pump on the frame rail
next to

tank pushing fuel thru

a 1/2 line to carb.

Anyone ever convert their 3/8 sender to a 1/2 line? I'm looking for

methods and success stories :)

I'm trying to cure a fuel starvation problem; so I have upgraded to 1/2

lines from the tank to the pump, but thought about doing the sender

while I'm back there....
