First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... I wasn't gonna say anything :-) I appreciate the feedback though...
I agree that may not be the issue, but I have the tank out now, I'm running new lines to the mech pump (Carter 6907); I may need to upgrade to an electrical pump, but was actually trying to avoid that if possible. I figured I'd increase the supply line in the sender if possible too... ________________________________ From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, March 13, 2008 8:52 AM To: First Generation Firebird-L Subject: [FGF] Subject: Subject: 1/2 sending unit supply line Dont know what I was thinking the 1/4 line doesnt go to the pickup just into the tank Nix that Idea. Why not use the 1/4 line and Y both together. I think your fuel starvation problem is somewhere else. Are you sure youre not sucking air? You may want to think about 3/8 line to a fuel pump on the frame rail next to tank pushing fuel thru a 1/2 line to carb. Su bject: 1/2 sending unit supply line From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Tue, 11 Mar 2008 12:44:24 -0400 Anyone ever convert their 3/8 sender to a 1/2 line? I'm looking for methods and success stories :) I'm trying to cure a fuel starvation problem; so I have upgraded to 1/2 lines from the tank to the pump, but thought about doing the sender while I'm back there.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Submissions to Firebird-L: <[email protected]> Unsubscribe from Firebird-L: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Help: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/firebird/Firebird-L.html> Classifieds: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/ubb/> Owner Pictures: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/show/> Donations: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/store/cart.mv?999999> FGF Merchandise: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/store>
