First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... Anyone know what the proper paint color is for the engine bay/firewall for a 69? My project has the firewall painted dark green like the rest of the body. I'm planning on painting the car white and I can't imagine having a white firewall, it seems like it would always look dirty plus it would be impossible to get it painted very well with all the stuff in the way. I"m thinking of painting it flat black with the hope that it will blend in with the dark green in the nooks and crannies that I can't really get to.
