First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... Is the '69 350 ho exhaust system the same as a '69 small block Camaro . My car now has dual mufflers , no convertible brace , and rear pipes necked down after the dual mufflers 21/4 to 1 7/8 ths . I'm sure that performence suffers a bit and in the looks departement size does matter. Not sure if the hearbeat city crome tip rear pipes with might work ? They may be bent to fit an original dual outlet muffler . Or should I scrap the system and return to original. Any ideas ? Don't street race and all #s match on the car.
