have any directions so I'm not quite sure about the  mounting of the lines.
I have my old subframe with drum brakes but the  lines and brackets are
different.

The front line goes under the motor along the cross member and through the  
motor frame mounts.  It helps to disassemble the mounts or you can  brutalize 
the line and thread it through.  The 69 line ends on the top of  the subframe 
at the brackets you are talking about.  The brackets get  mounted with a bolt 
to the top of the subframe as you can see in some of the  pics in the link.  Or 
you can call Matts' Bowtie and get the lines  especially made for fitting the 
67 frame brackets.
