It would have helped if I looked at the power brake section instead of the standard brake section. What a dumbass! The power brake diagrams do not show a spring. I have very good pedal return without the spring so I wasn't really sure I needed it. I've got a spring on there now that almost works like it should. I have to wonder what this spring is for. Here is pic of the spring I used. Anyone know what it's for? Also, I found a 68' assy on e-bay and the guy was kind enough to post a pic with the spring. Notice how mine has a 5 coils and the ebay one has 3.
