Many of us were excited about the DVD when it was announced on the list. I don't know how many ultimately received one. Perhaps the original owner got overwhelmed by all the requests -- I can understand that completely, it's a lot of work to burn 20 DVDs one by one, they can take 30 minutes each to put together. If the DVD is a dual-layer, the disk itself is around $4.00 (last I checked). So, no hard feelings whatsoever. I have two ideas, both of which begin with making a list of those who want the disk. Then: 1) Whoever owns the disk can send copies to two others. Then those two others each make two copies and send them out, and so on, until all the requests are filled. The last guy in the chain takes up the next request. 2) Depending on how many people want the disk, we can make a short run of 500 or 1000 copies at a cost of around $1.00 each -- again, this price is based on the last time I checked. I'd be willing to manage this if we had ten people who would pitch in $50 or $100 each. Those ten people would receive one-tenth of the whole run, to dispose of according to the original author's licensing permissions.
