I just finished reassembly of my 69 and I put the fenders, hood, and lower valance on first. I completey assembled the nose peice (headlight bezels, grills, bumper, etc. and then bolted it on. It took some help to hold it and get it bolted to the frame rails but I think it was worth it. You can make the minor adjustments once it is bolted in place. There is nothing easy about a Firebird front end.

My car has all the front bumper and sheet metal off it.  What's the general order of putting stuff back on?  Fenders first, bumper first  or ???
