If you are not looking for stock I've found the nineties model chevies, like the caprices and some others, have a very nice underhood light that's white plastic with a clear lense and mounting tabs and mercury switch at pic-a-part junkyards. It can also work in a truck but won't fit up in the cubby hole like the factory ones. I have occasionally found those in junkyards too.
