Ed, I have the manual for my 69 and in section 1A there are several diagrams of the system showing vacumm routing. I would think the manual for the 68 would be similar. I did have to hunt a bit to find the firebird info as it is mixed in with stuff for the full sized pointiac as well as the tempest and they are all slightly different. I can copy the info for the 69 and email it to you if you want - it's probably the same or nearly so.

Greetings all, I am in the final process of putting the 68 back together. The latest problem that I have encountered is the correct connection of the vacuum line connections for the factory A/C system. I have checked the service manual but there is nothing specific for the Firebird. If I have missed something please let me know. If not, does anyone have a vacuum line diagram that they can post or send to me? Any help would be appreciated. Of specific interest is the connection for the heater hot water control valve.
