I am double checking my rotating assy and wanted to make sure the oil spurt
holes on the rods were facing in towards the cam. I can't see any spurt holes
at all. However, the rods have a notch on one side only just above the big
end's upper diameter. When I pressed them in, I recall 1-3-5-7 went one way and
2-4-6-8 went the other. I saw this in a book at the machine shop and it doesn't
appear to be in our manual. Does anyone know the correct orientation? I read
the rod's bearing tangs are suppose to be oriented toward the bottom of the oil
pan. I'd rather not take it apart to check since I can see the rod notch
without removal. Each set is facing away from each other on each journal.

Also, since I can't see an oil spurt holes, how in the world is my cam shaft
getting oil to the lobes? Probably a dumb question but I can't figure it out.

Thanks,Sheen
