Hey Chris R., I waited awhile to see if anybody brought up the Nats, but alas nobody did. So I'll have to pat myself on the back. Unfortunately many of the regulars that we talk with weren't there, Corky, Joe, you and your wife, and I didn't get to see Bob T. I ended up winning 1st place in First Gen modified with the '68, but not much gloating as there were only a handful of cars. The '86 TA got placed in modified for the first time in 8 years due to the trailor hitch (which has been on since 1986) but that allowed Marti and I to meet other nice people. I also won the Jim Emmel Memorial Award that was presented by his brother Steve which really made my day. I really felt good winning that special award from the show. So I guess I did bring home 2 trophies after all. Hope to see you next year at the new location which will be at the Dayton Marriott right off 75 near downtown with plenty of parking, rooms and to my wife's delight, 2 pools and a hot tub. Don H.
