Is that with the gaskets laying down there? The thickness of the gasket will 
shim it up a little.

Another aftermarket fitment problem. I have an aluminum valley pan from BP and 
an RPM Performer. They interfere with eachother where the runners come down to 
meet the heads. Laying the manifold down on the heads, it rides on the valley 
pan making it impossible to get a seal. It appears I need to "trim" the valley 
pan on both sides by about 1/16". Anyone else run into this?
