Chris, it's all good! I ended up finding a friend locally who has one
for the month. If you need anything run, let me know!
I basically have built the M3 from a tub into a complete car, it's been
a really quick project. I started working on it in the evenings in June.
Now it is driving. It's a great car! A have a few friends around here
that have them, they really enjoy them, so I picked up the project car.
The plan is to finish building it into a track day style car. It already
has a roll bar and other track car goodies but still has AC and an interior.
I also have a TON of parts if you need anything for your Son's car.
including an OBD I intake to wake it up a little bit.
Alas, it still does not compare to my Firebird!

Ugh Paul - I'm really sorry, my month of Carfax just expired (caught
me a bit by surprise too). If I end up going for another month (which
I may do as I am shopping for 2005/2006 GTO's) I'll run it for you.
As an aside, that M3 should be a great car. I have a 1997 328i 5
speed/sport package etc. and it's been great car. I picked it up with
80K miles and it has 150K miles on it now (and is now my son's daily
driver).
