Thanks for the article link. I talked with Butler yesterday and they set me up
with a mechanical Carter 110 gph (freeflow) based on my engine specs and lack
of desire to go through the trouble of replumbing, extra electrical work, and
deal with a potentially noisy electric pump. They said they build their 500 hp
range motors with the Carter 110 gph based on determining the engine's fuel
needs on a dyno and then verifying the Carter 110 gph can keep up with those
needs. Everything Butler has ever advised me on has made a lot of sense so I
bought it. They're a little spendy but their really cool about taking the time
to talk with you about your project and advise you on the options.

.........................................................................> I
should've suggested this before - I went to the almighty Google and found this
article by Car Craft:>
http://www.carcraft.com/howto/ccrp_0712_fuel_system/index.html> > Here you'll
find the formula and the meaning of BSFC or brake-specific fuel consumption.> >
re: oil press switch; that a neat idea but I doubt it'll help in a rear-end
hit. The g-force switch sounds like a better idea...> HTH> PeteJD
