You'll probably have issues with the wiring harness as well as the computer. There may also be an issue with the gauge pod, motor mounts and probably a few other things. Once you get it running (if and when) you'll likely have to take it to a referee station to get them to certify it and smog it (at least the first time). Most people go the other way (an LT1 or an LS1 into a V6 car) which makes it a little more worth while.

Will a 3.8 v6 from a 1996 firebird bolt into a 1995 trans am convertible
with ease and if so will there be problems with the California DMV in the area
