I need to replace a drum brake spindle (steering knuckle) for my '69. I
received one today from NPD, but it is "made in Taiwan" and I have some
reservations about that. Does anyone know of a source for a spindle made in the
USA? Maybe even a really good used one?
Does anyone have for sale a pair of rear drum brake backing plates? (The plate
that the brake shoes, springs, etc mount to.)
Also, to convert from an automatic brake pedal to the brake and clutch pedal
assembly, is there a different mounting bracket? I bought the clutch / brake
pedals from NPD and can't figure out how to mount them where the automatic
brake pedal mounts. Can anybody give me some direction on this?
