I couldn't quite follow what you are saying. I had to pre-install the hood and lower valance to square in the fenders before I was able to start the adjustments that let me square up the headlight buckets and those polyurethane bumpers to the front fenders, then I went on to installation of the front chrome bumper. I did have to make several (understatement) adjustments to the fenders and all of the front nose assembly before I was complete. Patience and about three days of coming back to make adjustments before I was satisfied. What I am saying is the lateral and vertical placement of the fenders is a part of the nose cone adjustment routine. The factory must have had a jig to assemble the front end, then they put the whole front end on the car. We have to decipher what that placement was, because we are creating all of those placements as per our desire. The nose cone is frustrating, but patience will get you where you want to be.
