I replaced mine with an 85 Amp. I think it was a 12SI. I'd have to
hunt down the paperwork but I think it was stock for a mid 80's
Camaro. I don't think you wiring will handle a 100 Amp or larger
without a lot of rewiring. (I did a lot of rewiring on mine just for
the 85.)

I'm going to buy a new SI (internal regulator) alternator. I have
Hotrod Air AC. The 83' to 86' alternators list 100 amp for cars
w/out AC and 140 amp for cars w/AC so I assume having AC requires
more amps. Also, I plan on upgrading headlights to H4's (I think).
The options appear to be 70 (standard), 100, 115 (mini alternator)
or 140 amp. What do I need?
