the local body / custom shop of 50 yrs often uses hardtop replacement panels
to repair the conv's. some metal fab /welding is required in the rusted
convertible specific areas in addition to grafting usable metal.
owner of the facility says "it's easier than starting with a flat piece of
metal".

OK, I've tried everyone I can think of: CI, YO, PY, Ames, Sherman, muscle
car metal, experi-metal, and probably a few others: All are dead ends.
Any other suggestions/options?
