I was looking through the factory manual and see Pontiac had a tool to assist
in lifting the engine w/o using a cherry-picker. The part number is J-22603,
[ref. page 6-82].
Has anyone actually seen this tool, has one to sell or is there a vendor that
has something similar?
According to the manual the engine can be lifted 4.5" to facilitate oil pan
removal.
