Anyone able to use stock speedo cable with a Tremec? I have the adaptor that goes into the transmission but the inner cable was about 1/4" too long, i.e. could not even get the thread started on the tranny. So, I shortened the inner cable but it frayed so I had to go a little shorter to clean it up. It ended up being about 1/4" too much...and now I need to buy a new cable. Anybody go through this fun?
