Hey Joe,
thanks for the info. We must have snuck that one by all the
opinionated people :). I'm going to take advantage of this 74 degree
day (after having a foot of snow a week ago). and get to work. I've
also got an empty engine bay to scrape and paint so may have some other
questions on surface prep as I go along.
One other quick questionm, underside of hood also has some surface
rust. I'm not looking to redo the whole thing (i.e., remove all the
old paint). Question is if I treat the really small areas can I paint
over the old paint as well when I re-do.
