Steve, that's great. If they do good work we need to cultivate and promote those shops. Our local shop done many, many parts - big & small for us, including the front subframe, driveshaft, rear axle and all 5 wheels. I was pleased with them at the time but they have changed hands and are not interested in small jobs or custom colors now. > > > Subject: Re: [FGF] Powdercoating > From: "Paul Zarychta" <[email protected]> > Date: Tue, 14 Apr 2009 23:15:14 -0500 > > WOW! Or do I have you confused with one of our other folks? Didn't I send you a radiator core support? I feel sure that if you have a chance to visit with these folks you would be impressed. I actually didn't know that powdercoating could look as good as these parts do. Plus, all the threads were cleaned out, parts were ready to bolt on and run. > Subject: RE: [FGF] Powdercoating > From: "Brent Block" <[email protected]> > Date: Wed, 15 Apr 2009 08:03:40 -0600 > > Cal, > Posting Pontiac parts on a Mopar only forum...now that's funny. > > The parts look awesome. After spending five years on the restore, that first winter was so humid we could darn near watch the intake start to rust. That was pretty disheartening. I do not believe that will be an issue now! As for the poncho pics on the Mopar site, they are a great bunch of folks - just like this site. We've actually posted pics of the 'bird a couple times...
