First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... I just RR's the heater core and am puting some of the AC pieces back together. I think I've got a pretty good idea of how the vacumm doors all work and in looking at the repair manual there are two diagrams that I think are reversed. Fig 1a-70 is labeled as Tempest AC system but it looks to me like it's really the Firebird. Fig 1a-71 is labled firebird but it seems all wrong and I assume it must be for one of the other pontiacs, probably the tempest. 1a-71 shows two double vac-line vac motors and my 69 does not have any such vac motors.
