From what I've been seeing on GTO prices they are generally 18-30k in WA. We have slightly higher used car prices, but I don't think you'd want a GTO being sold for 7-12k unless you had a VERY detailed history of it.

Daughter has a 05 Malibu and loves it. Absolutely no problems in 4
years. Year old one would be in his price range. Has lots of space
and get good gas mileage.
