Typical reproduction junk. At least the last set I bought had shafts that
were too long and I had to grind them down.
I'd send them back and get some from somebody else. I've gotten several
things from CI that were of poor quality. Also, a number of things they
sell as Firebird parts are actually Camaro parts. Remember, they started
out as a supplier of Camaro parts.

I'm installing new door handles (exterior) from CI. The shaft on the push
button doesn't reach the metal push tab on the Lock Assy. Is there a
mating part that goes in between these two? I'm not seeing anything on the
diagram.
