The one in the pic Brent sent is an aftermarket flex type hose I believe that goes to the newer style sideways water neck. I got one of those necks by mistake when I ordered it from Summit. And I already have the correct hose which I got from Ames. I believe the first gens are to have the "almost" straight up water neck like you see on Rick's old 69 on this page on picture 4 and 5 down the page. http://www3.telus.net/public/68bird/cars_local_friends.htm And the correct hose points almost straight down to it so the hose will not be resting on your valve cover and clear the alternator nicely. By the way does anyone have on of the correct water necks kicking around they would like to part with?, before I order one from Ames.
