I've had problems with Ames as well. They've gotten worse in the
last few years. Overall, they are still one of the better ones to
deal with, but they aren't above an occasional scr##ing either! Only
bought a few things from Performance Years but hadn't had any
problems with what I bought.

I agree - Ames only sells parts for Pontiacs. I've never had a problem
with them. Their freight charges are reasonable (MUCH lower than
Classic, for instance, even though I'm in southern California).
