Agreed, we need a large draw, maybe get the POCI involved, Sponsors like Ames, Performance Years, Butler, Year One (started out for the 69 trans am enthusiast), those that are dedicated to the Pontiac hobby. I also think that magazine coverage would play an important key role! We should have activities throughout the event, Cruises Cannon Ball Run (Anyone watched Bull Run?) Show and Shine Drag Race (if there is a local track) Time-Speed-Distance Rally Prizes for the show and events Mag Coverage SPONSORS - It cannot be done without them! Swap Meet/Vendors - if there is enough interest Music - I know we have some good talent among us! 2.We were thinking fall of 2010, Is this too early for most people? 3. Agreed CO is a little left of center, Deadwood, SD does sound mighty interesting! I'll check the calenders and weather in a little bit. http://www.weather.com/weather/wxclimatology/monthly/graph/USSD0084?from=36hr_bottomnav_undeclared Looks like September is the last cool month before it goes into the 50s. 4. That is why we have the FGF Forum, I've never been very active on the forum until yesterday, posting only once and a while. But I feel that it will be a major asset in us pulling off the meet. We can use the FGF-L for announcements and solicitation of opinions. Maybe a monthly update or what have you. 5. YES YES YES and YES! Well I'm only 24, but I've always had a lot of fun in large automotive meets. I think it would be really cool to meet some of the people that started to help me over 10 years ago when I first joined the list. -Paul Z.
