Thanks for the reply Brett. Sure wish I could have gotten it one day sooner
all right. We had fantastic time in Seattle. We were covered for the airport
trips with our pre-booking a shuttle but I can't imagine anything much
sweeter than going for a cruise along that waterfront in a convertible 67
with a 455 in it. You have a beautiful downtown and one wild and crazy bunch
of football fans there. I would come back in a second. We had a great time.
I had turned off my blackberry before we left and did not turn it on again
until we got back last night. I was glad I was able to bring the valve train
parts FGF member Bob was looking for. He got them today he said. I will try
to give you more notice the next time we come. My wife has already informed
me she is coming next time after we told her how great it was...

Kelly, so sorry I've missed this until now... behind a week on my list
emails... I would have loved to have met up with you guys and would have
at least offered to pick you up at the airport in the bird and drop you
off at the hotel or something?

Not sure you'll be able to get this... but from where you are staying,
you are close to the Seattle Center/Space Needle and the Experience Music
Project. Then the Seattle Waterfront is close by (take the Monorail from
Seattle Center to Westlake Center, head due West and through Pike Place
Market and down to the waterfront... Just south near Qwest Field is Pioneer
Square with lots of Historical Buildings and the Seattle Underground Tour!
Lots of great places to eat, hear some music and have a cold beverage...

Again, sorry for missing the post until now... I know even if you get this
tonight... you'll have a busy schedule with the game tomorrow & all... but
would have liked to have been able to catch up with you guys! Sorry to have
missed that opportunity!

Brett - 67 Drop Top 455! (Just South of Seattle)

I have noticed a couple references to the number of Seattle area bird
owners. My 20 yr old son and I are flying to Seattle on Saturday for the
first time from our home in Alberta. Going to a Cougars game at Quest Field
Saturday and a Seahawks game Sunday. Staying at Best Western Loyal Inn in
Seattle. Will have some time to see the sights after game Saturday and maybe
a bit on Sunday before the game. First time we have done something like
this. You only live once right? First ever NCAA anything and first NFL game
for us both. Any suggestions for what to see and do? Have heard of Pikes
Fish Market. Tailgate parties? Maybe you could PM me so as not to bore the
other members. Thanks.
