Greg,

The original space saver spare on my 68 is deflated and somewhat folded down,
but off to one side (the tread is not over the rim, but mostly to one side). I
tried inflating and deflating, inflating and then deflating guiding it back.
But after decades like this it does not want to sit any other way. If you get
an answer that works, I would love to hear it! Sorry I'm no help!

Hello,

Can anyone give me some tips on deflating a space saver spare I have. I had
picked it up a while back. The rim seems to be excellent but the tire was
semi-deflated when I bought it. I recently attempted to deflat and assumed all
this time I had it, it would retract back perfectly. But that's not the case.
The tire stays open with all the air out of it. Can anyone give me some tips? I
was thinking about restoring this and using for my bird.

Thanks.

Greg
