Kelly, no harm meant! and Rick, yes I actually thought it was someone
on the L list as you posed it the way you did, so that's why my answer
was like that!LOL
by the way Kelly ,here some interesting reading about the benefits of
the spoilers, and a graph of downforces

http://www.camaro-untoldsecrets.com/articles/rpo_d80.htm
and Yes, I know who Bo is, (now YOU are being the spoiler! lol) , I
just kept it under lid , since I didn't want to toot his horn for him!
lol....
he IS a nice guy ,and we have also spoken on the phone (in Swedish ,of
course!)...he is actually an "honorary" HALF member ,we gave him the
HALF hat (yes it's a full hat!)

Ouch. It was me that called Rick last night to ask him about the
spoilers.
:-) I have seen so many with them, that I thought they did come with
them.
He didn't and said he would take one for the team and post the question.
I
looked in the FGF tech section right after and found out the answer that
many of you have pointed out here. But I did not get back to him in time
before he posted. Yeah, They are common, but not actually stock. I got
a
good deal on a set still in the boxes on the weekend and bought them.
Still
not sure if I will use em or not. My build is not "numbers matching" and
I
like the look. Got a 400 hood too. It's currently REALLY purple but
sweeeet.
Thanks for the responses.

PS... Anybody ever Google our Bo Svenson? Yes, he is that Bo Svenson.
(sorry
Bo). A very nice guy by the way. We spoke on the phone a few times in
last
couple of days. (if any of you are thinking of buying his parts.)
Now I am Really thrilled with my new steering wheel, even more than
before... now it has "provenance" as they say on "that" overblown TV
show.

Hi Bjorn....still laughing with your response...because it is not
entirely
true about his knowledge...the fact is that he dared to question
me!....lol.
In reality, he is a heck of a fellow and does awesome work on his car.
Can't give you anymore hints because I did tell him i wouldn't give out
his
name. It is just one of those things with the spoilers...guys swing
either
way on them...I am not a big fan of the rear...but I am still jealous of
all
1st gen owners at this point!
