First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... I already have a ford Aod Overdrive tranny from them as well. The last engine I pulled out of the bird was with that combo and the engine prior to the 406 which was a 355 was with the 2004r. If you look at their site, you will see what the Ford AOD tranny is all about. I had them convert the transbreak to the overdrive. I spent about 6k on the tranny that is in there now. Its good to 2500HP and is a manual valve body....
