Guys,
The navy has politely asked me to move across the country from Rhode Island
to San Diego. Any recommendations on trustworthy auto shippers that can
move my Bird safely (enclosed) at a good price? For my last move I picked a
company off the internet - they put my car below another car that leaked oil
all over the original vinyl roof and then chipped the paint on the passenger
fender somewhere along the way. I had to meet the driver at midnight to
pick up my car, and when I pointed out the oil stain and chipped paint, he
told me to call the transport company in the morning. The transport company
told me the driver was an independent shipper they contracted and any damage
was his responsibility - but he was long gone.
I appreciate any advice you have. Thanks.
