From a Missouri perspective, Colorado in August is fanfirebirdtastic, if you factor out the 6-8 hour drive across Kansas to get there! No offense, Jayhawkers, and there's always Prairie Dog Town, which is located just off I-70, somewhere in the middle of the state! Best collection of rattlesnake odds and ends you'll ever see.
