Thats correct.

I lifted the body close to the jam with a steel beam with the rear
tires off the ground before I welded on new quarter panel skin to get
the correct distance.

The week point is at the seam where the inner fenderwell meets the
floor pan by the back seat. This locations is typically rusted as it
has been fatigued.

On my 67 convertible, the door gaps on the rear are tight at the top
and more open at the bottom. One side just got a new top hinge and the
other a hinge repair kit, but the gaps are still off. I've been told
that this is because the body has begun to sag and the fix is basically
to anchor the four corners and jack up a timber across the center to
flex it back into position. Does this sound right? Is there any other
solutions since I'm fresh out of anchor points in my garage floor?

Thanks.
