.........................................................................
Well, after a 15 hour return trip I am back with my new bird. Before
leaving I had received the PHS report and it is what it is supposed to be.
A 400/400 with factory hood tach, front discs, gauge dash, clock, console,
deluxe interior and other codes which i will have to post here for you guys
to help me with. Nice owner, he was the second one and he bought it in 76
when he and his wife got married. He had to sell due to the fact that he
had just bought a new mustang and they are moving to a condo so he had to
thin out his herd. Got a pic of them in front of the car so nice to know
the history. Have the protoplate from the original owner as well. I like
that sort of thing. Only 68000 miles on her. Nice, tight car. Numbers
matching block with vin stamped, 62 heads, original distributor, carb, even
a few of the hose clamps. Will of course need a few things but overall a
nice driver. Was painted in 83 with a bad paint job, but looks good from 5
ft away...lol. Am being hard on it cause I am until I get to do the things
i need to do but am very happy. Will figure out how to put a link to post
pics...I am thinking Kelly said he would help me with that. Either way,
will think of a few more things but am pooped.
