Mace, do you remember the part number of the adapter? I've been on MSD's
web site, but everything refers to adapting after installing MSD ignition.

You have to buy an MSD tach adapter, or replace the tachs original
signal amp with one from a 1977 up GM tach. Look on Ebay for 77 up gm
tach any model will work. I used a 77 TA tach amp.

Yes they will Stu, just wire it up ground, light and one to the plug
for tach on the HEI

Do the original hood tachs (not reproduction) work with HEI? A friend
of mine bought one that doesn't work, but the guy he got it from swears
it worked. We want to be sure that's not the problem before we contact
the seller.
