There are exceptions to what is found in the charts--some are just exceptions and some are due to change overs in different factories at different times. For instance, the late 68 Firebird 400's received the "1969" intake, but most charts will show the "1968" intake manifold part number. The change was apparently just a running change in each factory for when the 1968 part number was exhausted.
