First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... I had my non-working AM converted by Gary Tayman. He's been doing conversions for quite a few years. It looks completely stock but is an AM/FM Stereo with line inputs for MP3. I've tried it on the bench to make sure it works but havn't installed it yet. I think it cost me close to $400. I looked around for some "new" radios that would fit and never found any that really would fit correctly, at best they required cutting the bar out of the opening.
