Like it or not, removing the vin tags and putting them on another vehicle
is against the law for a reason in most states that I know of. This is fraud.
And yes, there are ways to do it correctly... it just actually takes some
actual work and some integrity to do it correctly. Just switching the tags
is not it.
Personally I'm glad I could never afford any of the "rare" cars to make a
personal issue, but especially in today's market, it's more important than
ever with the amount of scams we are faced with each day. There is right
and there is wrong.
