Rick, I have a couple Space Savers that are GM and are late
60's early 70's period correct, but probably are not date code
correct etc. But They would fit the bill if you want one? I've
had at least a couple of them in storage for quite some time...
so they could use a cleaning and repaint of the wheel etc.
(easily done as the tire is collapsed)

BUT, where I got them may be of interest, we have quite a few
"Used Tire" places around up here and I noticed a small pile
of space savers and started sorting through, the guy asked why
I would want them and I said just for looks (not mentioning
that it was for a classic car etc) anyway, he said I could take
as many as I wanted! I sorted out about 5 early GM ones and my
buddy picked up 3 Mopar ones that he sold on eBay for up to $300!

So you guys may want to check Junk yards and used tire shops!

Oh, and I'd bet it was Gary also. He does graphic work and prints
decals and produces many of the repro type Vinyl decals etc. I also
have not talked to him in a while. He and Glenn disappeared?

Brett!

Subject: space saver spare tire question
From: "rick watz" <[email protected]>

HI All...
Are there any other makes/models/years that would share the same space saver
spare tire for my 1969 ?

Also, for my previous 1969, a lister here was remaking the labels for the air
canisters...i think that is where i got it from...anyone know whom I am
speaking of?

Thx
Rick
